Top IndyCar Racing Teams in 2021

Motorsports are very popular in the world. Formula 1, for example, is a very popular motorsport and people all over the world follow it and bet on it using offers like Betiton Welcome Bonus. F1 drivers are icons, from Hamilton to Schumacher and beyond.

IndyCar, on the other hand, is mostly popular in the United States, albeit people all over the world still watch Indy, even though the majority of the viewers are from the US. As with most motorsports, there are plenty of teams and some of them are better than the others. Here are the top IndyCar teams in 2021.

Chip Ganassi Racing

This team has a lot up its sleeve, particularly after becoming a 4 car team, upping their game from a 2 car team. They already had good success being a 2 car team, but now doubling their size, things are bound to get even better.

With drivers like Scott Dixon and Marcus Ericsson, their team is already considered being stacked, meaning that they already have plenty of good drivers. Add to that mix Alex Palou, Jimmie Johnson for road courses and Tony Kanaan for ovals and you have a very solid mix of racers. The 2021 season will show us how far they can go.

Team Penske

Team Penske is probably the best team for 2021 that you can cheer for. They are the winningest team after all, but more notably, their drivers have over 70 wins together, namely Josef Newgarden, Simon Pagenaud and Will Power. With the fourth, Scott McLaughlin, a rookie with very promising skills, they are looking like the team to take many titles this year.

All eyes are on the rookie, but don’t let that fool you. Newgarden is probably at the height of his driving skills so he might as well be one to take home a win. Whichever the case, Penske is looking like a team that will take more than a single victory, something every team could only hope to do in a season.

Andretti Autosport

Motorsport or autosport? Does it matter if you take home victories? In this case, it does not. Andretti Autosport is a team with Colton Herta, a driver who knows how to use the wheel and the pedals, and very well so. Alexander Rossi is another driver to look out for. He is a great threat when it comes to winning a race, as well as Herta. They have to step it up, because Penske is not going down without a fight.

Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchcliffe are the two other drivers the team has, and drivers with a history of success, yet as of late, they haven’t really been as shining as everybody would like them to be. Consistent, yes, but win contenders, not really.

Arrow McLaren SP

McLaren is a very popular name in the world of motorsports, particularly F1. Indy also has a McLaren entry, in the form of their current two drivers, Patt O’Ward and Felix Rosenqvist, two very capable and fast racers. This is a very traditional way of stacking a team, with two drivers, both of whom can contest almost every race.

Rosenqvist was a rookie driver in 2019 yet his role started changing over the next season, and he took more incentive as he got more experience. Never count McLaren out, particularly with this duo of drivers.

IndyCar is looking really good in 2021, with more than a single team to contest every race. Above mentioned teams will be the ones to look out for, but do not forget Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, Ed Carpenter Racing, Meyer Shank Racing and Carlin. These teams will also be there and when the engines start roaring, it is anybody’s race.
